Two Credit Unions Announce New Board Members; Eglin FCU Announces Five-Star Performer Award Recipient

Two credit unions, including Great Lakes Credit Union, announced new additions to their boards, and Eglin Federal Credit Union announced the recipient of the Five-Star Performer Award for the first quarter of 2026.

New Hires:

  • Royal Credit Union (Royal) has announced Nic Gredyk as Enterprise Risk Manager. In this role, Gredyk will lead Royal’s enterprise risk and resilience strategy and oversee key programs including Enterprise Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Physical Security, while providing expert guidance on emerging risks and regulatory requirements.

Recognitions:

  • Eglin Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Account Services Representative Erica Hennion has been selected as the Five-Star Performer of the first quarter of 2026. Erica has been employed with the Credit Union since January 2023 and currently resides in Mary Esther. The Five-Star Performer Award is a quarterly employee recognition program honoring team members who consistently demonstrate Eglin FCU’s Core Values: Respectful, Trustworthy, Dedicated, Proactive and Engaged. 

Promotions:

  • Coastal Credit Union has promoted Jennifer Gallagher to Vice President of Support Services and Branch Expansion. In this expanded leadership role, Gallagher will assume responsibility for all Coastal facilities, fleet management, security, safety, office space planning, mail services, and Enterprise Document Management. She will continue to be responsible for growing and optimizing Coastal’s network of branches and overseeing the ATM and Interactive Teller Machine fleet.

Appointments:

  • Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) hosted its 88th annual meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, bringing together members and staff for a virtual event focused on the credit union’s performance and priorities for the year ahead. During the meeting, members heard updates on GLCU’s financial performance, reviewed strategic plans for the upcoming year, and received additional organizational highlights, including new and retiring board members. The changes include:
    • Dionne Lewis, Manager – Tax, S&C Electric Company and current Supervisory Committee Member, was elected as Director
    • Deborah Williams-Thurmond – Non-Profit Consultant, D.W. Provision Consulting, LLC, was elected as Associate Director
      • After the annual meeting, GLCU held an organizational meeting where board officers were announced. The board officers are:
        • Pat Price – Board Chair 
        • Kevin Leman – Vice Chair 
        • Cathy Corbi – Secretary
        • Lee Piekarz – Treasurer
  • Quorum Federal Credit Union announced the election of new officers to its Board of Directors: Yogi Nehra as Chairperson, Allen Price as Vice Chairperson, Anthony Pompo as Secretary, and Rudy Chang as Treasurer. The newly elected officers underscore the Credit Union’s ongoing focus on sound stewardship and digital innovation.
    • The newly elected officers serve alongside Quorum’s full Board, which collectively provides oversight of strategy, risk management, financial performance, and executive leadership:
