Three credit unions, including Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union and Tower Federal Credit Union, announced new additions to their teams, and OTIS Federal Credit Union announced the promotion of its new Branch Manager.
New Hires:
- With more than two decades of business leadership highlighted by a focus on disciplined financial stewardship, Devin Hughes has been named Senior Vice President of Finance at Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU). Hughes will report to Crews and will lead the credit union’s finance, treasury, accounting and financial-risk functions. In this role, he will help shape RBFCU’s financial strategy, optimize balance sheet performance and strengthen enterprise-wide fiscal soundness and capital planning. He’ll assist RBFCU’s executive leadership to support long-term strategic objectives.
- Tower Federal Credit Union announced the hiring of Darena Merdzhanova, JD, MBA, CRCM as new Vice President of Compliance. A seasoned compliance executive, Merdzhanova brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across banking, credit union, and fintech. In her new role, Merdzhanova oversees Tower’s Compliance Management System, leading efforts related to regulatory compliance, risk assessments, policy and procedure development, monitoring and testing, training, complaint management, and reporting to Tower’s leadership and Board. Her team plays a critical role in identifying and managing risk while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Williams as the Vice President of Commercial Banking. Promotions:
- OTIS Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Emma Blaisdell to Branch Manager. In this new position she will oversee daily branch operations, lead and mentor our front-line staff, and help ensure excellent member service. Since joining OTIS FCU as a Teller in 2022, Blaisdell has shown great initiative and enthusiasm, and has been an integral part of our operations team. She was promoted to Teller Supervisor in 2024, leading by example and building meaningful connections with her team members. With her leadership qualities and dedication to excellence, Blaisdell was a fitting candidate to step into the Branch Manager role.
