Power Financial Credit Union‘s ATM network just got a whole lot bigger.
The South Florida-based credit union recently partnered with NCR Atleos to tap into the Allpoint and Allpoint+ networks, which means members can now hit up more than 40,000 surcharge-free ATMs across the country—plus another 15,000 internationally if they’re feeling adventurous.
But wait, there’s more. Members also get access to around 3,500 Allpoint+ locations where they can make cash deposits. Think of it as suddenly having branches everywhere without Power Financial actually having to build them.
Why This Matters
Power Financial Credit Union isn’t exactly new to the game. They’ve been serving South Florida families and small businesses for 75 years—since 1951, to be exact. And they’ve racked up some impressive credentials along the way, including being named one of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2026 by Newsweek and winning “Best Credit Union in Miami-Dade” three years running according to the Miami Herald.
So when a credit union with that kind of track record decides to expand its ATM access, it’s worth paying attention.
“Access and convenience are critical to how we serve our members,” explained Wanda Ferrer, EVP and Chief Financial and Strategy Officer at Power Financial Credit Union. “By leveraging the Allpoint and Allpoint+ networks, we’re able to provide our members with more locations to access their cash, make deposits, and enjoy a seamless self-service experience.”
The Branding Touch
Here’s a nice detail: Power Financial isn’t just plugging into someone else’s network and calling it a day. They’re using something called Allpoint Screen Branding, which means when members use their card at any of these ATMs, they’ll see the Power Financial brand throughout the transaction. It’s a small touch, but it keeps the experience consistent—whether you’re withdrawing cash at a 7-Eleven in Fort Lauderdale or a Walgreens in Wisconsin.
NCR Atleos, for their part, seems pretty pleased with the partnership. “Atleos supports financial institutions in extending their reach beyond traditional branches through unmatched scale, reliability and innovation in self-service banking,” said Steven Nogalo, General Manager of North America for Atleos. “We’re proud to support Power Financial Credit Union as it expands access and convenience for its members through the Allpoint Network.”
The Bigger Picture
This move fits into a larger trend we’re seeing across the financial services industry. As more people expect digital-first banking experiences, credit unions and banks are finding creative ways to meet those expectations without the overhead of opening new physical branches. Network partnerships like this one let smaller institutions compete with the big national banks that have ATMs on every corner.
For Power Financial members, the takeaway is simple: your card just became a lot more useful, no matter where you are.
