Nothing says “happy birthday, America” quite like the chance to sail off into the sunset with a vacation you didn’t have to pay for. Eglin Federal Credit Union is rolling out the red, white, and blue carpet this summer with a celebration that includes free cookies, patriotic swag, and—here’s the big one—a shot at winning a cruise for two.
The party starts July 1st and 2nd, when all Eglin FCU branches will be handing out complimentary cookies and America-themed goodies. Think of it as a birthday party where you get the presents.
Your Ticket to Paradise (Maybe)
From July 1st through August 31st, anyone can enter the “Cruise on in for America’s 250th Celebration Giveaway” for a chance to win a five-day, four-night cruise vacation to Mexico, the Bahamas, or the western Caribbean. We’re talking sun, sand, and the kind of relaxation that only comes from being surrounded by water with nowhere you need to be.
Here’s how it works: Eglin FCU will select twelve lucky winners—one per branch—in a random drawing. That means your odds aren’t half bad, especially compared to your typical sweepstakes where you’re competing against half the internet.
How to Enter
Entering is refreshingly simple. Just swing by any Eglin FCU branch location in person and drop your name in the hat. You can enter once per day, so if you’re really committed to that cruise dream, you’ve got two full months to maximize your chances. The only catch? You need to be at least 21 years old to participate.
“This is a special opportunity for us to celebrate our country’s history while connecting with the communities we serve,” explained Laura Coale, SVP of Marketing and Public Relations at Eglin FCU. “We’re excited to provide a memorable experience for our members, welcome prospective members into our full-service locations, and give everyone a chance to win an unforgettable vacation.”
Whether you’re already a member or just cruise-curious, the celebration is open to everyone. It’s a solid excuse to check out what Eglin FCU has to offer while munching on a cookie and daydreaming about tropical drinks with little umbrellas.
