Redwood CU Announces Promotions; Origence Announces New Associate Board Members

Redwood Credit Union announced two promotions within its organization, and Origence announced the appointment of three new associate board members to its Board of Directors.

New Hires:

  • Reliant Credit Union is pleased to announce the hiring of Marlin Mei as Developer. Mr. Mei most recently served as Software Engineer III at Tracelink, Inc. In his new role at the credit union, Mr. Mei is responsible for providing technical direction and support in the development and maintenance of business software and related procedures.
  • The League of Credit Unions is pleased to welcome Brian Harris to the team as Senior Director of Governmental Affairs for Georgia, bringing more than a decade of experience in government affairs, legislative affairs, and political campaigns to the organization.

Recognitions:

  • Corporate Central is proud to announce that Hunter Cliffgard, Investment Analyst, has successfully passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program, an internationally recognized credential that represents one of the most rigorous and respected standards in the investment management profession.

Promotions:

  • Redwood Credit Union (RCU) has announced the promotions of Gladys Milligan and Azalia Basurto to advance its purpose of elevating the financial well-being of its members and deepening its commitment to the communities it serves. Gladys Milligan has been promoted to regional vice president, Member Experience. In her new role, Milligan will provide strategic leadership and support to branches in the counties of Napa, Marin, and San Francisco, ensuring exceptional member and team member experiences while supporting Redwood Credit Union’s strategic priorities. Azalia Basurto has been promoted to branch experience manager. In her new role, Basurto will focus on strengthening community partnerships and expanding access to financial education programs such as Bite of Reality and others to those living throughout Lake County, helping individuals and families build confidence and improve their financial well-being.

Appointments:

  • Origence announced the appointment of three new associate members to its Board of Directors. The new associate Board members are:
    • Bill Brown, president and CEO of Citadel Credit Union. Brown brings more than 25 years of financial services leadership, holding executive roles at global banks, regional financial institutions, and community-focused organizations. His expertise spans retail and digital banking, business and wealth management, consumer lending, and operational risk. 
    • Chad Shane, president and CEO of Canvas Credit Union. Shane brings more than two decades of experience in credit union lending and leadership. He previously served as chief lending officer at Canvas, where he led lending strategy and operations, and has held progressive leadership roles across the organization. 
    • Geoff Lundfelt, president and CEO of Global Credit Union. Lundfelt brings more than 28 years of credit union leadership experience. Under his leadership, Global Credit Union has grown significantly in scale and reach while maintaining a strong focus on member service and operational performance.
  • Royal Credit Union (Royal) is proud to announce Senior Vice President of Payments and Digital Services, Jeni Brantner, has been appointed to serve as a Public Member of the State of Wisconsin’s 2026 Joint Legislative Council Study Committee on Cryptocurrency. Brantner will help evaluate cryptocurrency-related technologies, review regulatory considerations, and make recommendations to support responsible development. The committee’s work will help inform discussions around digital assets, blockchain technology, consumer protection, and innovation in Wisconsin’s financial services landscape.
