UMassFive College Federal Credit Union just cut the ribbon on a shiny new branch at 465 N. Main St. Translation? More personalized financial services for families, individuals, and businesses across the Pioneer Valley—without the corporate runaround.
This marks lucky number seven for UMassFive in terms of branches, and it’s their second location in Hampden County (their Springfield spot in the Mercy Rehabilitation Building now has a sibling). But don’t think of this as some aggressive expansion play. The credit union’s already been quietly serving the area for years—they’ve got over 6,800 members living in Hampden County, with more than $311 million in active loans helping real people buy homes, launch businesses, and generally adult their way through life.
“We’re delighted to officially open our doors in East Longmeadow and become even more involved in this community,” said Lauren Duffy, President & CEO of UMassFive. “We’ve been meeting the financial needs of local people for nearly 60 years, and this new location allows us to bring that commitment even closer to those we already serve in East Longmeadow and the greater Springfield area, while welcoming new members to the credit union.”

Meet Your New Financial Neighbors
The East Longmeadow branch comes staffed with actual humans who want to help (imagine that). Leading the team is Branch Manager Will Wilcox, who brings over nine years of credit union experience to the table, including expertise in financial coaching and community outreach.
Joining him are Lead Member Service Specialist Nia Recchia and Member Service Specialists Daniel “Danny” Albizu, Jessica Donais, and Jowayne Cargail. And if you need help with retirement planning or investment strategies, Wealth Advisor Sam Einzig will be at the branch every Tuesday.
