Peake Federal Credit Union is beefing up its leadership roster with two major moves: bringing Carmen David Mirabile on board as their first-ever Chief Operating Officer and giving Keith Seeley a well-earned promotion to Chief Financial Officer.

Why These Moves Matter

“Carmen and Keith contribute experience and expertise across several disciplines, including operations, community engagement and finance, all areas that are essential to Peake’s future and our ability to deliver even greater value to our members,” explained Stacie Sloan, President and CEO of Peake Federal Credit Union. She added that growing the leadership team is a strategic play to support the credit union’s expansion while keeping the spotlight where it belongs: on serving members and adapting to their changing needs.

Meet Your New COO

Carmen Mirabile isn’t exactly new to the game. He’s bringing over 30 years of leadership experience to the table, with battle scars from financial services, retail, healthcare, nonprofits, and agencies. That’s the kind of diverse background that means he’s seen it all and knows how to navigate just about anything.

More importantly, he’s spent 14-plus years in credit union leadership roles, so he gets the unique DNA of member-focused financial institutions. His track record? Strengthening organizations and creating real value for the people they serve—not just hitting arbitrary corporate metrics.

Carmen holds an MBA in Organizational Management from Eastern University and a BBA in Marketing from Loyola University. He’s also been active in leadership positions with various credit unions and community organizations throughout his career.

Keith’s Climb to the Top

Keith Seeley’s promotion from Vice President of Finance to CFO is the kind of internal advancement that shows an organization knows how to recognize and reward talent. With more than 15 years in financial institutions under his belt—including serious auditing chops—Keith knows his way around financial reporting, risk management, and strategic planning.

Before joining Peake, Keith was a Principal at Rowles & Company, where he ran the credit union practice. Translation: he spent years helping credit unions navigate the complicated waters of financial reporting, compliance, and industry-specific challenges. Since joining Peake as VP of Finance, he’s already strengthened the credit union’s financial operations and planning processes.

In his expanded CFO role, Keith will take on even more responsibility for maintaining Peake’s financial health, supporting strategic initiatives, and positioning the organization for sustainable growth. It’s the kind of promotion that makes sense when someone has already proven they can handle the job.

Bottom line? Peake is investing in experienced leadership that understands both the technical side of financial services and the human side of serving members. That’s a combination worth paying attention to.
