Payments conferences usually promise inspiration and deliver a tote bag, so one that builds its whole agenda around usable intelligence deserves a look.

Member Access Processing (MAP), the CUSO (credit union service organization) built for credit unions that expect more, has opened early registration for UConference27. The event runs April 12–14, 2027, at the W Austin in Austin, Texas. Think of it as a three-day kitchen session: you don’t just read the recipes, you cook a few of them and carry the good ones home.

The theme this time is AMPLITUDE, and it centers on how practical, actionable intelligence is changing the payments experience for members. Credit union leaders, innovators and industry partners will gather to swap fresh perspectives, push back on conventional thinking and turn ideas into action rather than leaving them on a slide deck.

There’s a charitable angle, too. Attendees can take part in Amplify Good, a fundraising effort for Credit Unions for Kids, which gives the event some purpose and community spirit beyond the sessions.

“UConference27 is about creating an experience that helps credit unions think differently about what’s next in payments,” said Steve Bone, CEO of MAP. “Everything we do is grounded in empowering credit unions to better serve their members. We want people to leave Austin with big ideas, practical insights and real momentum they can put to work at their credit unions improving the member experience while growing their card portfolios.”

Next up, watch for MAP to release the speaker lineup, session topics and registration deadlines as April 2027 gets closer. Those details will show how much of the “actionable” promise makes it onto the agenda.
