Rogue Credit Union announced strong financial results for the first quarter of 2026, with continued growth across key categories.
Total assets grew at an annualized rate of 8.08% with $4.29 billion in assets, and the credit union experienced a return on assets of 1.09%. The credit union also continues to grow its membership base, now serving more than 242,000 members throughout Oregon, Idaho and California.

Rogue’s equity position remains strong. The credit union closed the quarter with a 10.28% net worth ratio, well above the “well-capitalized” regulatory requirement of 7.00%. Rogue remains a trusted financial institution that is safe, sound and secure.
In addition to strong financial performance, Rogue received recognition for its workplace culture in early 2026. Oregon Business named Rogue Credit Union one of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon, ranking it thirteenth in the Large Business category.
Rogue’s commitment to the community remained a focus during the first quarter. The credit union proudly presented the Pear Blossom Festival, continuing its longstanding tradition of community involvement. Rogue also supported the Southern Oregon Polar Plunge, raising $1,510 for local athletes through Special Olympics Oregon. Information about upcoming events is available on the credit union’s website.
Other programs featured in the first quarter include the Rogue Rangers™ Kids Program, which hosted an ice-skating appreciation event for 90 children and their families, and the Teacher of the Week and Teacher of the Month programs, which recognize outstanding educators throughout the credit union’s service area.
Rogue Credit Union also completed its annual volunteer service with the IRS’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program during the first quarter. Offered in partnership with local organizations, the program provides free tax help for community members, maximizing refunds and supporting financial well-being. This year, Rogue team members contributed more than 200 hours of volunteer service, helping secure more than $1.50 million in refunds for the community.
The credit union continued progress on strategic initiatives to better serve its growing membership in 2026. It recently introduced its new Silvur program, designed to support members in or approaching retirement. The program provides tools and resources to help navigate Social Security, identity protection and financial planning, reinforcing Rogue’s commitment to delivering solutions that support members on their journey to financial well-being.
Rogue also began construction on its new branch in Meridian, Idaho, which is on track to open in early 2027. Construction of its new branch in Coos Bay, Oregon, is also on track and expected to open this summer. The credit union looks forward to continued progress throughout 2026 and is proud to report a strong first quarter.
