Shred Your Secrets: All One CU’s Free Document Destruction Event This May

Got a closet full of old tax returns? A drawer stuffed with ancient bank statements? A filing cabinet that’s basically a identity thief’s dream come true? All One Credit Union has your back.

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9:00 AM to noon, All One Credit Union (yes, that’s the new name for what used to be Leominster Credit Union) is hosting a Shred-A-Thon at their 20 Adam Street location in Leominster, MA. And here’s the best part: you don’t even need to be a member to participate.

Here’s how it works: bring up to three legal-size file boxes or three 13-gallon kitchen trash bags full of sensitive documents, and watch them get destroyed on-site by New England Security Shredders. No sneaking off with your personal info in the back of some unmarked van—everything happens right there where you can see it.

The event is completely free, though the credit union will be collecting donations for Habitat for Humanity if you’re feeling generous. It’s a win-win: you get to clear out space and protect yourself from identity theft, while raising awareness about recycling and supporting a great cause.

What Should You Bring?

Think anything with your personal information on it: bank statements, old tax returns, medical bills, credit card statements, and any other documents you wouldn’t want a stranger reading. Basically, if you’d panic seeing it blow down the street, it belongs in a shredder.

Mark your calendar for May 30th and finally tackle that spring cleaning project you’ve been avoiding. Your future self (and your overstuffed file cabinet) will thank you.
