Middle Tennessee’s biggest credit union just made its northernmost move yet.
Ascend Federal Credit Union has officially opened its doors in Clarksville, marking the first time the financial institution has set up shop in Montgomery County.
The new branch—Ascend’s 28th full-service location—sits at 5888 Fire Station Road, Suite F. And this isn’t some barebones outpost. We’re talking about a 3,720-square-foot facility that comes loaded with everything you’d expect from a modern financial center, plus a few extras.

The Clarksville location comes equipped with five private member service rooms for when you need to talk money without an audience. There are drive-up and lobby Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs)—think ATMs that actually connect members with real human tellers —plus traditional ATMs available around the clock.
Leading the charge is Branch Manager James Jarvis, backed by a team of four Financial Services Officers and a receptionist ready to help members navigate everything from everyday banking to more complex financial decisions.

This branch isn’t messing around when it comes to product offerings. You’ll find all the basics—checking accounts, savings accounts, youth accounts, money markets, and certificates of deposit. But they’ve also got the bigger-ticket items covered: mortgages, auto loans, recreational vehicle loans, credit cards, personal loans, home equity loans, and even business accounts and loans.
Basically, whether you’re opening your kid’s first savings account or financing a small business, they’ve got their members covered under one roof.
The branch lobby welcomes visitors Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Saturday hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Need to hit the drive-up with a live teller? Those ITMs are staffed Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. And remember, the ATMs never sleep—they’re available 24/7 for those late-night or early-morning banking emergencies.
