Corporate Central Employees Speak: This Is a Great Place to Work

Corporate Central just earned its Great Place To Work® recertification for 2026, and the numbers tell a story that most companies can only dream about.

Every single employee who took the survey—and that was 98% of the entire team, by the way—said Corporate Central is a great place to work. That’s the second year in a row they’ve hit that perfect score.

If you’re keeping score at home, they also averaged 97% across all survey questions. Those aren’t the kind of numbers you get from free coffee in the breakroom and casual Fridays.

What Makes This Different

Great Place To Work® isn’t some participation trophy situation. They’re the global authority on workplace culture and employee experience—the folks who actually study what makes organizations tick and what keeps talented people from heading to LinkedIn with their resumes updated.

The certification is based entirely on what employees say about their day-to-day reality: the culture, the trust, the leadership. No PR spin, no executive wishful thinking. Just honest feedback from the people who show up and do the work.

“Being recertified as a Great Place To Work is a tremendous honor because it comes directly from our employees,” said Chris Felton, President and CEO. “Our culture is built every day through the dedication, collaboration, and commitment of our team. This recognition reinforces what we already know: our people are the heart of Corporate Central, and the environment we create together allows us to better serve our members and the credit union movement.”

It’s Not an Accident

Great workplace cultures don’t just materialize out of thin air like some corporate fairy tale. Corporate Central focuses on the fundamentals: employee engagement, professional development, real collaboration, and a foundation of trust and respect. They invest in growth opportunities and create space for people to bring their ideas and talents forward—not just nod politely at them in meetings and then ignore them.

“Great workplaces do not happen by accident,” Felton added. “They are created through intentional actions, open communication, and a shared commitment from everyone across the organization. We are grateful for the incredible team that makes Corporate Central a place where people enjoy coming to work each day.”

According to Great Place To Work®, certified organizations see measurable differences in how employees experience work. People actually look forward to showing up (wild concept, right?), feel they’re treated fairly, and trust their leadership to steer the ship.
