- Service One Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Cook as their new Director of Marketing. In this role, Cook will lead strategic marketing initiatives, brand development, and member communications across the credit union’s service areas.

- Tucson Federal Credit Union (TFCU) President and CEO Matthew Gaspari has been named a Credit Union Leader of the Year by AZ Business Magazine, a publication of AZ Big Media, as part of the magazine’s annual Excellence in Banking special section. The Excellence in Banking section recognizes Arizona’s leading banks, credit unions and financial services organizations, along with the executives driving the industry forward through leadership, innovation, community involvement and excellence. Gaspari’s recognition will appear in the November/December issue of Az Business Magazine.

- Eglin Federal Credit Union is pleased to congratulate Payroll and Benefits Specialist Wilma Taylor for 25 years of service. Wilma currently resides in Crestview.  On Thursday, Oct. 1, a celebratory breakfast was held at the Fort Walton Beach Branch to honor Wilma’s milestone anniversary. Friends, family and coworkers gathered to recognize her dedication and contributions.
- Ascend Federal Credit Union announced that Anthony Taylor, a member of its Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee, has been inducted into the Tennessee Credit Union Hall of Fame. The honor was presented Sept. 29 during the Tennessee Credit Union League’s Annual Convention & Expo in Gatlinburg. Established in 2010, the Hall of Fame recognizes individuals whose tenure, leadership, and achievements have advanced the Tennessee credit union movement, both within their own credit unions and across the industry. Inductees are selected by a panel of judges weighing years of service, leadership positions held, demonstrated commitment to the credit union philosophy, and educational accomplishments.
Promotions:
- Gerber Federal Credit Union (Gerber FCU) is pleased to announce the promotion of Brent Deur to Vice President of Lending. Deur joined Gerber FCU as a Branch Manager and has advanced through positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President of Consumer Lending. Over his tenure, he has played an important role in supporting the credit union’s growth while ensuring members continue to receive personalized service and local lending decisions.
Appointments:
- Nymbus announced the appointment of April Clobes, President and Chief Executive Officer of Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU), to its Board of Directors. Clobes already serves on the board of Nymbus CUSO, formed in March 2021 to connect credit unions with trusted fintech offerings that simplify technology delivery and open new digital growth opportunities. Her appointment to the Nymbus Board of Directors broadens that involvement to the company level, where she brings experience from both sides of the technology equation as the leader of a $9.3 billion credit union and as the chief executive of a CUSO built to invest in and scale fintech companies serving the industry.
