Jodi Rathbun-Briggs Steps Into Chief Growth Officer Role at Greylock Federal

Greylock Federal Credit Union just made a move that signals they’re serious about what comes next.

Jodi Rathbun-Briggs, a veteran leader who’s been with the organization since 2010, is stepping up as Chief Growth Officer.

If you’re wondering what makes someone the right fit for a role like this, President and CEO John Bissell put it pretty simply: “Jodi is respected across the country for building transformational community development programs. With her deep experience in lending and risk management, she is the perfect person to guide Greylock in providing a best-in-class Member experience and keep the credit union on a path of sustainable growth.”

Translation? She knows her stuff, and she’s got the track record to prove it.

What This Means

In her new position, Rathbun-Briggs isn’t just getting a fancier business card. She’s taking the reins on enterprise growth strategy across pretty much everything that touches members—lending, deposits, retail operations, branch networks, and digital channels. Her portfolio includes business banking, consumer and residential mortgage lending, retail services, digital experience, loan servicing, facilities, and community development.

That’s a lot of plates to spin, but here’s what makes her approach different. “Every decision we make at Greylock Federal Credit Union starts and ends with our members,” Rathbun-Briggs explained. “In this role, I’m looking forward to listening—really listening—to what our members need, and building the products, services, and experiences that help them buy their first home, grow their business, or simply feel more financially confident. Growth means nothing if it doesn’t translate directly into better outcomes for the people we serve.”

It’s refreshing to hear someone in the C-suite talk about growth as something more than just bigger numbers on a spreadsheet.

Why Now?

According to JamieEllen Moncecchi, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, the timing makes perfect sense. “At a time when Greylock is growing, having Jodi advance into the role of Chief Growth Officer is strategic to our ongoing success, internally and externally. We know her thoughtful leadership and immense experience will greatly benefit our teams and our community. This is an exciting moment for all of us on the leadership team.”

Beyond her day job, Rathbun-Briggs serves as treasurer for Common Capital—a community development financial institution (CDFI) that helps expand access to loans—and sits on the board of directors for the 1Berkshire Foundation. In other words, she’s been walking the walk on community impact long before this promotion came through.
