Kitsap Credit Union just made a power move in the digital arena, bringing on Puneet Malhotra as their new Chief Digital Experience Officer.
If you’re wondering what that means in plain English, think of him as the person who’ll make sure your banking experience is as smooth as your favorite streaming app—but, you know, for your money.
Malhotra isn’t exactly new to this rodeo. He’s spent over 25 years deep in the trenches of digital banking, payments, tech, and financial services. In his new role, he’ll be steering the credit union’s digital strategy and cooking up innovative ways to make banking more convenient for members—all while keeping that personal touch Kitsap’s known for. It’s the classic “have your cake and eat it too” scenario, except the cake is cutting-edge technology and eating it means still getting genuine human service when you need it.

Before landing at Kitsap, Malhotra was calling the shots as Chief Revenue Officer at Personetics, an AI-powered cognitive banking platform that financial institutions around the globe use to level up their game. Prior to that gig, he spent seven years at Candescent as Head of Global Sales for Digital First Banking, where he helped banks and credit unions navigate the sometimes-bumpy road of digital transformation—everything from platform capabilities to operating-model changes and adoption programs.
Bottom line? Kitsap Credit Union just added some serious firepower to their digital team, and members can probably expect some pretty cool upgrades in the not-too-distant future.
