If you happened to be driving down Arapahoe Avenue on April 27, you might’ve noticed something new: Meritrust Credit Union officially opened its doors at 2525 Arapahoe Ave, Suite H2A.
Complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony courtesy of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, the Boulder West branch is now ready for business.
This isn’t just another branch opening, though. For Meritrust, Boulder holds special significance—it’s where the credit union was originally chartered. So this expansion feels less like a business move and more like coming home.
“The Boulder West branch reflects our longstanding commitment to the community where we were first chartered,” explained Joley Riley, EVP and Chief Banking Officer at Meritrust. Translation? They’re doubling down on serving the area that started it all.

The Boulder West location isn’t messing around when it comes to features. Here’s what you’ll find:

Riley emphasized that the goal is simple: “anticipate consumers’ needs and provide the experience, tools and expertise they need to improve their financial lives.” In other words, less waiting in line, more getting stuff done.
The new branch also brings something the previous Broadway location couldn’t quite offer—more space, more services, and what Riley calls “a warm, friendly atmosphere.” Because let’s face it, banking shouldn’t feel like a chore.
