Mark your calendars, gearheads and families alike—American Heritage Credit Union is throwing their legendary car show bash for the 22nd time, and you’re invited. Whether you bleed motor oil or just appreciate a good community party, this one’s worth the trip.
The action goes down Saturday, May 16th from 10 AM to 3 PM at American Heritage’s main campus (2060 Red Lion Road in Philly). And here’s the best part: it’s completely free to attend. If Mother Nature decides to rain on the parade, they’ve got a backup date lined up for Sunday, May 17th.
More Than Just Eye Candy on Four Wheels
Sure, you’ll see hundreds of drool-worthy vehicles—classic beauties, muscle cars that rumble just right, and modern marvels that look like they drove straight out of a sci-fi movie. But this event packs way more punch than your typical car show.
Philadelphia’s BIG 98.1 will be broadcasting live from the campus, adding that radio energy to the mix. Meanwhile, the craft show brings dozens of vendors, food trucks serve up seriously good eats, and the Family Fun Zone keeps everyone entertained. We’re talking inflatables, a petting zoo, games, a clown, and activities that’ll keep kids (and let’s be honest, adults too) smiling all day.
Show Off Your Ride and Win Big
Got a car that deserves some spotlight? Registration costs $15 if you sign up early or $20 on event day. That gets you entered into the trophy competition where 75 awards get handed out across categories like Best of Show in Antique, Modern, Muscle, Street, Stock, Modified, Imports, and Exotics. Plus, your registration includes an event t-shirt, two lunch tickets, and a dash plaque for your pride and joy.
The Real Win: Helping Kids Through Music
Here’s what makes this event truly special—every dollar raised goes directly to the Kids-N-Hope Foundation. This organization does incredible work enhancing pediatric patients’ lives through health and life services, with a special focus on music therapy. Since they started, the Foundation has donated over $5.1 million to programs at places like Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and other nonprofits doing meaningful work.
“We are thrilled to celebrate our membership and welcome the community to our annual event this May,” said Bruce K. Foulke, President & CEO of American Heritage and Founder of The Kids-N-Hope Foundation. “Our Annual Member Appreciation Day & Car Show has been a beloved community event for more than 20 years. This event is also an excellent opportunity for our membership and the larger community to learn more about The Kids-N-Hope Foundation and its mission, and ways in which they can give back.”
So whether you’re a credit union member, a car enthusiast, or just looking for a great way to spend a Saturday while supporting a worthy cause, this event checks all the boxes. See you there.
