Three Credit Unions Announce New Hires; The League Announces Board of Directors

Three credit unions, including TBA Credit Union and People’s Credit Union, announced new additions to their organizations, and The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates has announced its 2026-27 Board of Directors.

New Hires:

• TBA Credit Union (TBACU) has welcomed three new team members who will play key roles in strengthening service and enhancing the overall member experience. Kris Wood and Jill McDonnell have joined TBACU as Branch Leaders, while Jonathan Wilson joins the organization as IT Support Manager. In their respective roles, Wood and McDonnell will lead branch operations and foster meaningful, day-to-day connections with members, while Wilson will oversee IT support, helping ensure reliable and efficient digital services.
• Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of David Alvarado as Member Contact Manager. David brings more than 25 years of financial services experience to ATFCU, with extensive expertise in contact center leadership, operational strategy, team development, and member experience enhancement.
• People’s Credit Union has announced the appointment of Leyna Beaudoin as Head of North Kingstown Member Operations, reporting to Cassandra Anderson, Head of North Kingstown Branch. In this role, Beaudoin will work closely with her team to strengthen service excellence and deepen relationships with the communities the credit union serves.

Recognitions:

• Members First Credit Union is proud to announce that Joshua Buck has been named the 2026 MCUL & MCUF Young Professional of the Year by the Michigan Credit Union League. This statewide recognition honors outstanding credit union professionals under the age of 35 who are making a meaningful impact by strengthening service, expanding access to financial opportunity, and advancing the credit union mission across Michigan. Recipients are recognized for their leadership, collaboration, advocacy, and commitment to cooperative principles, as well as their contributions to their organization, the industry, and the communities they serve.

Promotions:

• Texans Credit Union announced the promotions of Adrien Augustine and Melissa Perea from District Managers to Directors of Branch Operations. As part of their expanded roles, both will join the credit union’s Senior Leadership Team, reflecting Texans Credit Union’s ongoing commitment to developing talent from within and investing in the leaders who drive member experience across its branch network.

• The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates announced its 2026-27 Board of Directors following The League Annual Business Meeting held Thursday, June 11, during ENGAGE 2026 in Orlando, Florida. The Board includes officers elected during the meeting and directors representing affiliated credit unions across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia.
