Greylock FCU Taps Banking Veteran to Lead Consumer Lending

Greylock Federal Credit Union just made a power move in the consumer lending space, bringing John Rose on board as their new Vice President of Consumer Lending.

And judging by his resume, they’re not playing around.

Rose isn’t exactly new to the game. He’s got nearly two decades of consumer lending experience under his belt, including a solid decade-long run at Rhinebeck Bank. There, he climbed the ranks to Senior Vice President, running a multi-channel operation that touched everything from auto loans and mortgages to credit cards and personal loans. Basically, if it involved lending money to consumers, Rose had his hands in it.

“Greylock is happy to welcome John to our Consumer Lending team,” said Tara McCluskey, Senior Vice President and Lending Officer at Greylock. “His experience driving product growth, building teams and expanding market presence aligns with our current goals – he’s an excellent addition to Greylock Federal Credit Union.”

In his new role, Rose will be steering the ship for all things consumer lending at Greylock. That includes direct and indirect auto lending, credit cards, and personal loans. Think of him as the strategic brain behind how Greylock helps members finance everything from their daily driver to life’s unexpected expenses.

Rose seems genuinely pumped about the move, too. “I am honored to join Greylock Federal Credit Union and be part of an organization that leads with purpose,” he said. “Greylock’s focus on community engagement and delivering thoughtful financial solutions reflects a strong vision for supporting its members. I look forward to helping build on that foundation and driving continued success for the communities we serve.”

The search that brought Rose to Greylock was conducted by Humanidei, proving that sometimes the best hires come from knowing exactly what you’re looking for and finding the right partner to help you get there.
